No Sweat Halloween Costumes

The following Halloween costume ideas are fairly quick and easy to construct. They are rather inexpensive and are made from sweats - something you can lounge in for the rest of the year! Don't let choosing a costume stress you out... these costumes are easy, inexpensive, and no sweat!

Domino

This costume is fairly easy to construct. You will need a pair of black sweats, thick white tape, heavy white paper, and safety pins. The sweats are the "domino" and the dots on the domino will come from the white paper. Decide how many circles you want on your domino and cut the desired number in equal size circles from the white paper. Make sure the circles are not too large or small by using the person to be the domino as a guide. Place sweats on the person to be the domino. Wrap the white tape around the waistline/middle of the "domino," leaving it loose enough for the person to be comfortable and move around. Pin the circles on the shirt and pants where they appear on actual dominoes. Black shoes and black face paint finish this costume well but are not necessary. You can also reverse the colors it you prefer a white domino.

Crime Scene Outline

This is another costume fairly easy to construct using black sweats. You will also need durable white tape (it should be thick enough to see from a distance). Place sweats on person to be outline. Using side seams of sweat top and bottom as guides, place tape along seams (don't forget inside seams of arms and legs). Black shoes finish off this costume. You can also use a black cap and black face paint to complete the look, but they are not necessary.
