Walgreens in Conway, Arkansas Offers Discounts on Photofinishing For College Students

For those of us that have gone to college in Conway, Arkansas, we know that this town is behind the college students everywhere we turn. Recently, Walgreens has began a program (thus far only available at the two Conway stores for UCA, Hendrix, and CBC students) that allows college students with a valid school ID and e-mail address to get a 15% discount on photo services. This includes refilling inkjet cartridges (black and color), developing photos from 35mm film and digital, and passport photos for those traveling overseas. It doesn't end there, though. Ask your local photo technician if your photo needs are covered under the discount. This is something new that has just started this year.

Other than the discount on photo services, another good thing about your local Walgreens (besides that some are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year) is the new Prescription Savings Club. You pay $20.00 as an individual, or $35.00 for a family (including pets) and receive a HUGE list of drugs that are available for only $12.00 for a three month supply! Another great thing about the Prescription Savings Club is that anytime you purchase Walgreens brand products in the store and swipe your Prescription Savings Club card, you automatically receive 10% back for your next purchase! It's really a great bargain, especially for those who regularly take prescription medication and do not have insurance. The only downside is that if you are on any federally funded insurance program (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.) you are not eligible for the Prescription Savings Club. If you do have a form of insurance that is not federally funded, however, the plan may still be for you. Some insurance companies do not cover some of the drugs that the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club does cover. It could still save you a lot of money!
