As an engaged couple, there are many decisions that you must make concerning your upcoming wedding. One set of choices is in regards to the music that will be played during your joyous ceremony. These songs should reflect the love and dedication the two of you feel for on another, as well as be a representation of your personalities. Select memorable songs that have an underlying meaning for our your relationship. Below are more tips on selecting the proper wedding music

For the ceremony

Most weddings have music playing as the mothers are seated, and as the bridal party and bride enters the ceremony. During everyone's arrival, classical music may be played, with the exception with the bride's entrance, whereas the Bridal Chorus is typically played. You may choose, however, to select songs to be played or sung during the times of entrances. It is recommended to play something soft, calming, and peaceful. As the bride and groom exit, the Bridal March is usually played.

Music typically accompanies the unity candle lighting portion of the wedding ceremony. Here, you may choose to have someone perform a live song, or have your DJ play something that you and your significant other have chosen. This song should represent the relationship you two have with one another, as the unity candle is a representation of your lives being tied together as one.

For the reception

The receptions sometimes entails special dances that need appropriate music to accompany them. For the couples' first dance, select a romantic song that has a special meaning, or one that you both like. If you to have a piece that you consider "your song," the first dance is the perfect time for it. Music may also be selected for the bride and father dance and groom and mother dance. There are many songs out there that reflect on these relationships, such as "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle, "I Loved Her First" by Heartland, "A Song for Mama" by Boyz II Men, and "The Man You've Become" by Molly Pasutti.
