Did you know that the Q-Tip was invented by Polish-born American inventor Leo Gerstenzang sometime in the 1920's? It was one of the simplest inventions of our decade, and has become a household name world-wide. The list of amazing and wonderful things that Q-Tips can be used for leaves one a loss of words. Here are some very useful things that I have found Q-Tips to be a benefit to clean the most stubborn things we use on a daily basis.

1. Dip one tip of Q-Tip into a small cap full of alcohol, let stand for 2 minutes-then take swab and wipe in-between crevices to remove dirt build-up, this will work for any TV, game or audio remote controls. This will also keep the remotes functioning and operating at their peak level.

2. If you have any minor scratches to your eye glasses, you can use a scratch removal to remove unwanted scratches from lens. When applying the scratch removal with the swab make sure to do both sides of lens.

2. Clean the most stubborn areas of your computer or lap top. Dip 10 swabs into alcohol-make sure that both ends are completely saturated with alcohol. Let swabs stand for 5 minutes then gently swipe the top of keys to remove dirt, dust and contaminants. Use swabs to wipe in-between spaces of keyboard and typing area, this will keep your keyboard sanitary and keys free to use. Repeat these steps every month to ensure the cleanliness of your components. One of the most important things to remember-do not swab any keys in-between the keys, this will damage your keyboard, and will freeze-up certain keys.
