Opportunity Knocks is the awesome new reality show on ABC that gives the average family the chance to win a cool 250,000! The game played with four family members answering trivia questions based on their own family, is sure to become a huge hit. When Opportunity Knocks on your door will, you be ready?

If you fit their requirements, you could be the next family who gets the chance to play for the big bucks and prizes.

First requirement for Opportunity Knocks

You need to have an outgoing family with kids from seven to twenty-one. My family has four members 16, 18 and 21 plus me and I am 21 with twenty-one years experience. We also have two little children while adorable they are almost one and five. Guess we got that one down.

Second requirement for Opportunity Knocks:

Send them an email with your stats, like contact information, and a brief bio of the family. You also need to send a photo of the family and your house. They just want to make sure you have a nice looking house.

While mine is nothing, spectacular it is only 15years old, and appears nice on television and in the newspaper. Yes, my house has been on television before, but that was a public service announcement for a local charity. I have a good side front yard and hey, we could even block off the road out front for a day. I am sure the tractor-trailer trucks that carry the tools from the IR plant down the street would not mind being re-routed for a day or so.

The staff from Opportunity Knocks is looking for close-knit families and that is something that we are. I am the type of mom who hears too much stuff like what girls my sixteen-year-old son has a crush on. When my daughter was single, I hear it from her as well, now I am helping her to raise her children. We camp together, enjoy watching movies together, and even play games together.
