Embrionic Stem Cell Research

When people are saddenedby a disease,
isn't it good to know
Their illness could cease?
If a debilitating illness
can be conquered
with stem cell therapy,
Why do we stop this ability?
If a person can be treated
with embryonic stem cell,
Why can't we go on with research
so his/her life won't be "hell."
Is an embryo more important
than a full grown being
who now is suffering
from a difficult sting?
If you think about this objectively,
you really may see
that science is important
for a life to free!!!!
I feel so strongly about this subject that I hope that one day very soon this uncomfortable subject, the fiction between science and ethics can be discussed with an open mind so that millions of people can be helped through embryonic research. For those of you who are giving this some thought, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This week, the American Diabetes Association strenuously urged the United States Senate to pass the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2005, which would shift the government's involvement in the issue of stem cell research into high gear.
