Associated Content Interview: Sean Keefer

Associated Content is a great community of writers that help each other to become better writers. However, the people that write for Associated Content have much more to them then we realize. This interview of Sean Keefer will show people a different side to him.

Q: What inspires you to write?

A: When I first started writing I did it because I really enjoyed , from an ego standpoint , seeing my name in print and thinking that someone might actually read what I had written. Then, after I went to law school and started practicing law, writing became a part of my life. There wasn't any real inspiration, much like a taxi driver drives and a chef cooks, a lawyer generally write with no inspiration. After a while I realized that I missed writing for fun so I started writing again. Now I write to express my thoughts about something or to convey some area of law to people without a legal background or just to get my thoughts down on paper. When it comes to writing fiction, my writing allows me to get away into a world of my creation where I can come to really enjoy finding out what happens to my characters as their stories develop.

Sean loves go off into a corner of hotel lobbies to write on his laptop. In the future, Sean hopes to have his first novel published and finish his second novel. In addition, if Sean wasn't a lawyer and a writer he would like to have a career in music because he plays guitar or a chef because he loves to cook, or a super wealthy philanthropist. Speaking of cooking, Sean's favorite food is sushi, especially fresh tuna because it is just so good and good for you.

Q: What color best describes your personality and why?

A: I always thought that purple describes me best because it stands out but isn't flashy like reads and blues. Purple is also calming as in the shade of lavender. Purple is also kind of funny apart from the purple dinosaur. Best of all, few people find purple offensive plus most grapes are some shade of purple.
