Like a growing number of companies, RepsForRent understands the cost savings aspect of hiring virtual or at-home workers. RepsForRent hires at-home or virtual telemarketers on a part and full-time basis and advancement opportunities are available as well as. The company provides training and ongoing support for their virtual telemarketers. You will need to have at least two years of previous telemarketing, in particular, business-to-business telemarketing experience. Business-to-Business telemarketing involves contacting businesses, not customers, and offering services or products.
Pay is hourly, but it is determined by the type of project you are assigned. The hourly range is between $8-$15 an hour and there are some programs that include bonuses or commissions. There are also some commission only campaigns available. The company is looking for virtual telemarketing reps to work at least 30 hours a week, but will hire those who are able to work less than that.
As usual, with most telecommuting jobs there are equipment requirements. You will need a reliable computer, high-speed Internet (not sure if satellite will work), unlimited long distance, Windows XP or 2000, at least 1 Ghz processing speed, MS Word and Excel. Experience with ACT and WinFax are preferred, ACT is a contact management software, and WinFax, is a fax software program. At this moment, you will not need to purchase either of these software programs.
