With the latest string of revelations of stars revealing they're gay or marrying a partner they've been dating for a certain length of time without making things public gives one the thought as to why are these stars making it public about their sexual preference. As to why they seem to use the publ
ic forum to do it is really beyond one's complete understanding. Most of these celebrities who are pushing their sexual orientation on the rest of the world are doing it because of the countless people who are not for the gay lifestyle. For example Lindsay Lohan has been dating guys for as long as many can remember, but since when did she decide to turn gay or bisexual since she's not confirming whether she's bi or lesbian.

Sometimes you wonder about these celebrities revealing what should be something they should keep to themselves. Most of these stars are experimenting as bisexuals and deciding to be gay. Keep in mind that being gay is not something you're born as it's a choice and preference and only those who don't really understand the impact of what this lifestyle does to entire families are the ones telling those struggling with their sexual identity that it's the right thing to do. Most of the cases of people who are in the LGBT(Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgendered) lifestyle have some history of sexual abuse whether it's molestation, rape, incest, or sexual assault.

It's just the fact that celebrities are trying to garner sympathy from the general public for them revealing what should be something they need to keep to themselves. As if telling the world that they're gay is going to really make things better, yet it's causing more and more people to experiment with this lifestyle because they see others doing it or living it. The impact of this can cause a lot of pain for many families who are dealing with this. Yet when Clay Aiken revealed that he was gay he did it for his newborn son, but what would make him want to do this for his son when the child is an infant he won't understand half of what is out here until he's about 7-8 years old.

It's unknown as to why so many stars feel that the world needs to know they're gay or lesbian when they don't need to tell the world a part of their life that should remain private.
