Colorado Springs is based snuggly against the Rockies. Only about an hour and a half from Denver, this city is a good example of the beauty of Colorado. Colorado Springs has some of the best nightlife in the state. Here are some fine examples:

Jack Quinn's

21 South Tejon St.

Jack Quinn's is an authentic Irish Pub complete with dark wood and stained glass booths for privacy. There is a large room upstairs for group functions. There is live music with traditional Irish cuisine.

Judge Baldwin's Brewing Company

4th South Cascade Ave

Antler's Adams Mark Hotel Complex

Located in the Antler's Adams Mark hotel complex, it boasts being Colorado Springs original brewpub. The lunch hour provides affordable great tasting burgers and sandwiches.

Mackenzie's Chophouse

128 South Tejon St.

Famous for some of the "best martinis in town". It hosts a wide variety of steak choices. It has an interior of wood and stone. A great place for a business lunch or a night on the town.

Meadow Muffins

2432 West Colorado Ave

Located in the Old Colorado City area, it is a fun spot to hang out with friends and have a few beers. It is referred to as a sports bar and a saloon. It has a saloon feeling with wagon wheels hanging from the ceiling along with decorated ceiling fans that cool the bar. The locale favorite here is the "Jiffy Burger". A hamburger with peanut butter, bacon and provolone cheese.

Phantom Canyon Brewing

Situated downtown in the historic Cheyenne building, this is a popular sports bar. There is a great view anywhere you sit of the mountains and downtown through the huge windows. The second floor is devoted to pool, with twelve tournament style pool tables, another bar and a jukebox.

Rum Bay

Rum Bay is part of a block long complex of hot nightspots. It sports tropical décor and a large selection of rum. It kicks into high energy in the evenings and weekends with a house DJ.

The Underground

Yes it really is located underground. You go from the street into what looks like a phone booth and then down some stairs to their large billiard hall and dance floor. There is plenty of space to have fun.
