The Essential Qualities of a Good Mate

What makes a mate right for you? In other words, what specific qualities do women look for in a man and how do you know if he's Mr. Right? For so many single women like myself, the answer to this question is so important that one day I decided to really take time to evaluate this dilemma. Following are the results of my evaluation.

Factor 1 - Chemistry. This is an important factor in every male/female relationship, whether you are soul-mates or just good friends. In other words what is it about a certain man that we find so appealing? We all know that man who just "really turns us on", and when the chemistry is right, we know we turn him on too. Without chemistry or that certain "sex appeal" we would not be attracted to each other.

Factor 2 - Good Personality. Nobody's perfect but some guys have a good personality. Some characteristics of this factor are niceness, a great sense of humor, respect for himself and others, a fair amount of intelligence, a fair amount of maturity, good self-esteem, and a generally positive attitude about life. When a man is nice to everybody, but especially to his woman, he should be considered a potential mate. Every single woman should deem this factor important.

Factor 3 - Attractiveness. We all know by now that a man doesn't have to be real handsome to be attractive. In fact there are lots of "hunks" who just look average. Having a good body and knowing how to dress are real assets for any man to have. And good grooming, just puts "icing on the cake". A well-groomed man wears his hair to suit his face, shaves on a regular basis, and knows which colognes enhance his aura.

Factor 4 - Similar Interests. Let's face it---we all want a man who wants what we want. We want a man who likes to do the same things we do, and will do some of those things with us. For example, some women like going out and partying, while others prefer quiet evenings at home. Some women like sports, while others prefer a good movie. The point is no matter what we like, our perfect mate will do some of these things with us, at least some of the time.
