For kids who are crazy about the weather take them on a trip with "The Magic School Bus," a scholastic exhibit that makes the science of nature fun. Kids launch hot air balloons, create snowflakes, and film "live" weather spots through Jan. 16th. Hours are Tues.-Sat. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sun. noon to 5 p.m. at the Museum of Nature and Science at Fair Park, 1318 Second Avenue, Dallas. For more about the event, call 214-428-5555.

Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 6-11 p.m. the Nasher Sculpture Center becomes a nightclub where you can dance to live entertainment, eat selections from Wolfgang Puck's menu, and check out the gorgeous sculpture by moonlight. On Jan. 8th lunch with the Dallas Stars Hockey Team, chat with select players, coaches, broadcasters, and front office big wigs. Proceeds benefit the Dallas Stars Foundation. The event is from 12:30-2 p.m. at Fox Sports Grill, 5741 Legacy Drive in Plano. For information, call 214-387-5529.

Voted "Best Bet" by a local magazine, the exhibit of Charles Cramer will take place Jan. 13-28, Sat. noon- 5 p.m. and Sun. 1-5 p.m. Cramer studies music for 20 years before delving into photography in 1980. The exhibit will be featured at the Sun to Moon Gallery in Carrollton. Go to suntomoon.com.

Jan. 17th brings with it the Dallas Architecture Forum where you can listen to local heroes Raymond Nasher and Howard Rachofsky who will lecture with Emily Pulitzer of the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts in St. Louis. Revel in an old Melissa Gilbert favorite, "The Miracle Worker" Jan. 26th-Feb. 18th, Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays 1:30pm., and Sundays 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. at the Rosewood Center for Family Arts, 5938 Skillman Street, Dallas.
