It's time to start thinking and planning ahead for the Holiday Season. It's right around the corner. Just think of all the wonderful memories that will be made in the next few months. All the preparation, festivities, and the precious family time will all be part of those memories. We've done some research for you on the best places to get your live Christmas Trees in and around Lawrence County located in the beautiful southern hills of Indiana. We've picked out the best. Now you can pick which one appeals to you most or is closer to your area. We'll list the Christmas Tree farm location, hours, cost, tree selection offered and any extra goodies that are offered. So sit back, relax, read over our research and start planning your family outing to the Christmas Tree Farm.

The first recommendation is Hillside Pines Farm, a family owned farm, located in French Lick, Indiana. They will be open the First Friday after Thanksgiving from 9 am to 4 pm EST and each weekend until Christmas. You can find them at 11449 State Road 56 West, French Lick, Indiana 47432, or reach them by phone at 812-630-8948.

This family takes great pride in their trees which is plain to see. They offer White Pine and Scotch Pine Christmas trees up to 12 feet tall as well as exquisite fresh cut wreaths in 18" and 24" sizes, either plain or already decorated. Prices are $25 for trees up to 8' and $35 for those over 8 ft'.

The staff at Hillside Pines is very friendly and helpful. When it is time for cutting the tree, you are offered a saw to cut it yourself or the friendly staff will help cut and carry the tree of your choice. If you choose to cut the tree yourself, they offer their assistance once again with shaking and baling your tree to make transporting more convenient and less messy. They also offer to drill a hole in the tree trunk if your tree stand requires that. If you aren't familiar with the "drill stand system" that they offer there they will gladly educate you on it.
