To get to W3Schools you can go to their website (www.w3schools.com) and once there you have a multitude of options to choose from. The first thing to do is pick what programming language you want to learn. If you are a novice to web programming then I suggest starting with the most basic, HTML. Then all you have to do is click the link and start learning. It's learn-at-your own pace and they have great test environments where you can enter code and test it on a live browser. This can come in handy so you know if you are programming the proper way or not, and setting up a test environment of your own can be interesting, especially if you are new to programming.
They have so much you can learn on their website, they have live examples of programs that you can reference for help, they have quizzes to test you, and they have lots of great tutorials to help you learn and apply the material. W3schools is a great site for beginners to start learning programming languages.
