Actually is a great niche, I remember when I was one of less than 25 companies across the US that did this. I started up in RI and built the company too 50+ dogs, all paying $10 per week. Do the math, it is lucrative. yourdogsbusiness.com I was featured in the Providence Journal, 2 page story w/ pictures, Pawtucket Journal, and the Boston Globe ( twice). I was the only scooper in RI when I started, but now I would say there is about 20. As I no longer live in that area I gave the business to a family who needed a good source of income, and it is still doing well.

Nice niche topic. I'm sure some people are wondering why people don't just do this themselves but I know elderly people who love their pets but hire someone to both walk their dogs and deal with the droppings. Some of the people are in wheelchairs but still want their beloved dogs to remain with them.
