Alicia Keys Makes Her Film Debut, and Has a New Fan Club!

It seems that more and more singers are looking to show their acting talent. Alicia keys has decided to show her fans her big screen acting skills. She will be making her film debut on January 26, 2007 in "The Smokin Aces. The movie was directed by Joe Carnahan. She worked alongside some very top names such as Ben Affleck, Andy Garcia, Jason Bateman, Jeremy Piven, and Common (who will also be making his first movie debut). We all should have known that it would not take Alicia too long to find her way to the big movie screen.

The movie itself is an action Comedy, which is about a Mob Boss, who has a contract out on a magician (named aces) who is going to testify against him. Two agents played by Reynolds and Liotta, are given the responsibility of keeping him in protective custody. Once all of the hit men and others find out about the very large amount of money that is being offered for his head the hunt begins to find him. The movie is rated "R" and obviously has a lot of violence, nudity and drugs. Alicia plays a ruthless assassin in the movie and critics say that fans should expect to see a lot more from this very talented young woman.
