Here is a list of the 5 games I feel most confident in picking this week in college football.

College Football Weekend Spreads and Best Bets

Iowa +8 at Michigan State-

MSU has a much better all-around team than the Hawkeyes but until MSU proves they can blow people out you have to take Iowa and the points. Iowa has a good rushing defense and Brian Hoyer has to prove he can make more plays up top in the passing game.

Cincinnati -3 1/2 at Marshall-

More team speed and a great defense means Cincinnati will come out with a 7-point or more win in this one. Brian Kelly is too good of a coach to allow his young up-and-coming program to drop a game at Marshall.

Pittsburgh +14 at South Florida-

Pittsburgh is poorly-coached but the talent gap between them and the Bulls isn't that big so expect the Panthers to stay close.

Arizona State +9 at California-

The Golden Bears are good but Arizona State is better than they've shown so far and this could be a close shootout type of game. Take ASU and the points.

Florida State +2 at Miami FL-

Rivalry game here but Miami is too young and too inept on offense to win this one in my opinion. Take the 'Noles.
