Obviously we all live in this computer technology information age, unlike our parents who barely knew what computers were when they were growing up. Now-a-days you can get online everywhere you go, coffee shops, libraries, and even from your mobile phone. There are thousands of ways to date and meet all kinds of people from every corner of the earth online. There are thousands of websites to meet people on. Some of the most popular are match.com, yahoo personals, msn personals, myspace.com, tag world.com, holla.com, singles net.com, americansingles.com, and of course thousands of chat rooms. Most of these websites are free and they allow you to set up profiles with as much information as you like, you can upload photos and even have your own blogs if you want.

I myself have tried some of these sites and have been on dates but none have worked out that great. I have had pretty good experiences with online dating. But there is a downside to online dating, you never really know if the person is really who they say they are or if they are a murderer. That's the scary thing about the internet , anybody can be whoever they want. We have all seen the twenty/twenty specials where they set up the older males to date an underage girl, and they fall for it every time. The scary thing about that is it's not always who you would expect. Some of those guys are doctors and lawyers and even men in the military.
