No Change, No "Country First"

Last night for 90 minutes while the country stood on the precipe of economic collapse, the two candidates for Vice President debated. If America was looking for any change, or that our country would come first, you didn't find it here. Just more of McSame on both sides of the aisle, especially with respect to the real concerns of most in our country. It's eventual collapse and downfall, due to both mainstream political parties "big federal government" which is out of step and out of touch with the American people. No matter how much both Joe Biden and Sarah Palin attempted to paint themselves as "every American," with Ms. Palin's designer suits, and bubbly personality on the eve of the greatest betrayal of our country by those who claim to represent America and Americans, and Mr. Biden's long tenure in Washington as one of it's premier power brokers, neither represents mainstreet. Nor were there fundamentally much differences, other than physical, between the two.

Of most concern from my standpoint was that each, in their comments, affirmed that they are believers in "pre-emptive" wars, such as the War in Iraq. Ms. Palin also is a firm supporter of the Israeli lobby in this country, as seconded by Mr. Biden. She even used the "H" word, the Holocaust as a reminder of the threat of Iran's development of nuclear weapons and the devestation reminescent of the Holocaust, apparently, it would bring to the region and to Israel. No mention that Israel, thanks to the decades of foreign aid and support of the U.S. since the creation of Israel, has it's own nuclear weapons and has flexed it's muscles pre-emptively against several Middle Eastern countries, and a U.S. armed and trained military.
