ABC's Invasion : Is the Show Worth the Watch?

Throughout the week, if you were to turn on your television you are more than likely to come across a show that has a plot line involving aliens or unknown creatures. What sets a show apart from others similar in genre? Honestly, I believe that it depends upon the night and time that the show airs and what the other networks have for competition.

ABC's new show Invasion is already a hit and why shouldn't it be. Invasion is paired up with one of the most popular dramas on television this season, Lost. With other major network stations only airing crime dramas, CSI and Law and Order. Invasion is sure to see loyal and possibly new viewers every week.

On Invasion, Eddie Cibrian has been cast as one of the main character on the show. You may have already seen Cibrian's amazing acting skills on Third Watch or Tilt. He portrays Russell Varon, a Florida Park Ranger. He is remarried to a television reporter and has two children from his first marriage.

Lisa Sheridan plays Larkin, who is married to him and is expecting their child. Since they both work a lot, her brother Dave has been helping to care for the children. Dave's character is played by Tyler Labine, who I must note is absolutely perfect for this role. Dave is convinced that extra terrestrial beings are arriving and his suspicions are only confirmed when his niece, Rose, informs him that she saw lights over the water during a hurricane. Dave in convinced that the hurricane was just a cover up to hide the fact that others may be among them.
