A Dark Time of Year - A Halloween Poem
Halloween Poem
As the light of day dims,
last minute decorations are done,
the ghouls of Halloween's past,
flow into the streets,
seeking a prize,
sweet and sour,
ghouls of all sizes and shapes,
claiming there prize,
Halloween night,
truly frightening,
a scary delight,
as the candy is passed out,
with a polite smile.
As the light of day dims,
last minute decorations are done,
the ghouls of Halloween's past,
flow into the streets,
seeking a prize,
sweet and sour,
ghouls of all sizes and shapes,
claiming there prize,
Halloween night,
truly frightening,
a scary delight,
as the candy is passed out,
with a polite smile.
