A Goblin's Halloween Poem

Demons Come to Life

2
It's getting late, and the suns going down,

Gather the candy, put on your Elvira gown.

Witches and ghouls, black cats and bats,

Scary clowns and funny hats.

The moon is full; the wolves start to howl,

The neighbors' cat is on the prowl...

Some will stay in, others will go out,

It's "trick or treat", the kids' so courageously shout...

As the night goes on and children go home,

Shadows form and begin to roam.

Goblins and demons come to life,

The alter is ready for that Halloween sacrifice.

Once a year they unlock the gate,

Setting hell free to substantiate.

Free for one night to roam the earth,

Once a year, waiting for rebirth.

The dead will rise and come to life,

Stay indoors and take my advice.

This is just a Halloween poem,

But always remember, never go trick or treating alone...
