I spend a lot of time on the internet and always have. Throughout the past few years I've had a few different ISPs. One that I liked a lot was Communicomm. This ISP actually seemed to have everything together, for the most part. There were times when Communicomm wasn't the best ISP in the world, but I've yet to find an ISP that is perfect. There are several reasons why I would suggest Commnicomm to someone and there are a few reasons why I would not suggest Communicomm to other people. If you depend on the internet for college courses or work, you might want to stay away from Communicomm and I'll explain why later. First let's talk about all the good things that Communicomm as to offer.

The Good Points of Communicomm

This ISP actually has a lot of good sides to it. First of all, you don't have to have a long term contract. Communicomm doesn't try to trap you into a year commitment like most ISPs do. This has its ups and downs. When you do take on a contract at an ISP like Verizon you aren't charged for the equipment. I'm not sure if Commuicomm charges users for their equipment or not. When I was signed up, I also had their cable and I think I was able to get out of paying for the equipment because of that. Another great thing about this ISP is the prices. Communicomm charges very fair prices for their cable internet service. You will also get better deals if you also get their cable programming. The internet service at Communicomm is very fast, for the most part. I was able to download songs in mere minutes, rather than hours. One other thing I must mention about Communicomm is the fact that they actually come and install the equipment for you. For those who aren't computer literate this is a great reason to choose this ISP. Unfortunately, Communicomm isn't always wonderful, they do have their flaws.

I am Appalled at how slow and unreliable this ISP is. I have had service for 3 weeks and have had trouble with there unstable connection speeds since DAY 1! There are no savings in having an ISP that doesnt work over paying a little more for DSL. Which I am switching back too as soon as possible.

We have also had problems with Communicomm's downtime. And for the last 2 weeks, the quality of the connection has been horrible. Downloading and online gamming has been basically shut down by the connectivity issues. Maybe time for DSL.
