running backs you see the intensity of their vision. Barry Sanders always had his eyes set on the open field; the late Walter Payton had the same vision. It was as if these two players could prematurely predict on where they wanted to be-like navigating a time machine. Both Barry Sanders and Walter Payton were well conditioned athletes and astute students of the game.
