A Halloween Song list wouldn't be complete without some tunes about witches. When I began looking for these Halloween songs, I was surprised at how many I was able to find. I realized there were some great songs that I almost left off my Halloween Party Songs list.

Maybe you've been missing some of these Halloween Songs, too. If so, you can download most of them from ITunes.

This list contains Halloween Songs from many different styles and decades. You're sure to be able to find something you'll like.

Best Halloween Witch Songs

Black Magic Woman- Santana
Everyone associates this song with Halloween and that's exactly why you can't leave it off the list.

Witchy Woman - The Eagles
Again, this Eagles song is a must have. Of course, I have to tell you that I think Hotel California is the creepiest song they wrote.

Witch Queen of New Orleans - Redbone
This Halloween song is a must have if you like New Orleans. I had never heard this song until I began searching for Halloween songs for my party. Surprisingly, Tom Jones also did a cover of this song. I like the Tom Jones dance remix in addition to the original by Redbone.

Castin' My Spell- Johnny Otis or Wilko Johnson
I had never heard this song before but it has all the components to make a memorable Halloween song for your party. Cute because the song lists lots of items we all think of when we think of witches casting spells. Frogs, anyone?

Witchcraft- Frank Sinatra
A beautiful golden oldie. Even your grandmother will stay late at your party if you promise to play Witchcraft as one of your Halloween songs.

Wicked Old Witch- John Fogarty
Perfect for a party . This Halloween song has just a little country twang to it.

Season of the Witch- Donovan or Luna or Vanilla Fudge
This one definitely has a spooky Halloween edge to it and it also makes a nice, slow dance.

Mambo Witch- A Split Second
A good 1988 hit song from this Belgian Band. I couldn't find this on ITunes but you can check Mambo Witch out on YouTube

Witch Doctor- David Seville
This isn't my favorite but if it was left out of a "Best" list then everyone would notice. Oh well, the kids always like this Halloween song.

Takeaways
  • Many popular songs about witches, witchcraft, and spells make great Halloween songs.
  • Look for Halloween songs by all types of artists.
