Childhood memories of halloweens past,
I can see so clearly, can't believe they went so fast.
Eatting cupcakes, drinking punch,
Showing off costumes as we waited for lunch.
Chewing on gummy worms from our cups of mud,
Talking about who had the best fake blood.
Walking around the house waiting for dark,
Hoping we could go all the way to the park.
At times if I didn't want to stop,
We would go back home to do a parent swap.
And at the end when we were finally done,
We couldn't wait to eat it, we had a ton!
