Before switching to satellite radio, my husband used to listen to Howard Stern religiously. In fact, he even convinced me to watch Private Parts, a film based on Stern's autobiography. I might not have known much about Howard Stern, but I do remember one thing from listening alongside my husband--Howard Stern's divorce to first wife Alison burned him on marriage, and he'd never walk down the aisle again.

Nothing is a sure thing, however, even where radio shock jock Howard Stern is concerned. According to Us Magazine Stern married model girlfriend Beth Ostrosky on Friday night in New York City. Today, fans of Stern's provocative radio stylings are searching the internet for Howard Stern's wedding photos in hopes of catching a glimpse of the happy couple. Will Howard Stern's wedding to Beth Ostrovsky convince those who've been burned by marriage in the past to give wedded bliss a chance?

News outlets reported over the weekend that Friday night's wedding of Howard Stern and Beth Ostrovsky took place at Le Cirque, and boasted guests from Stern's radio team to other celebrities. The Boston Herald reports that Kelly Ripa's husband Mark Conseulos performed the wedding ceremony. Though Howard Stern's wedding photographs are eluding much of the Internet community, Ostrovsky herself has confirmed and discussed the wedding in Us Weekly.

So does Howard Stern's decision to tie the knot mean that others burned by divorce might consider taking the plunge again? It remains to be seen. While some Stern fans are excited for the radio personality, many are disappointed to learn that the celebrity they've been following for all these years has done such a complete 180 on the issue of marriage. However, the union between Stern and Ostrovsky seems like a match made in heaven, so perhaps they'll unintentionally urge others down the aisle, too.

In the meantime, Howard Stern's wedding, despite a lack of Stern wedding photos all over the Internet, appears to be getting as much media attention as the recent wedding of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. With any luck, both couples will have their happily ever after.
