More and more men are putting "it" on a pedestal. What am I referring to when I say "it?" Pussy. Or in a less vulgar sense, a woman's vagina.

Men want it. Well, straight men at least. However, through media and an overall glamorization of it and sex in general, it has been put out of reach by the re-labling of it as some kind of unattainable 'fantasy' and building up the value so much that it becomes "untouchable" to many men. Many men simple are terrified when it comes to going out and attempting to aquire "a piece." It has been put up on a pedestal and worshiped by the most recent generations of men.

In relational dynamics, This pedestal phenomenon can be looked at as what is called a "Stimulus-Response" type relationship.

The woman's genitalia is the stimulus where the man is the response. He is nervous, unworthy, worthless next to it. He has given it an astounding amount of value.

This is a huge mistake men have been making and thus creates a lot of stress and tension in relationships as well as an overall problem in the dating world in general . Anytime a woman is the stimulus when it comes to sex, it is the opposite of nature.

Man is supposed to be the stimulus and women are always the response in mating relationships, based off of sexual nature that goes back to the animal kingdom. This is why women will "play games" as some will say and "play hard to get." She has to be able to know if she can trust a man and not just open up her legs but her heart and emotions to adapt to his reality enough for mating to proceed.

What is the origin of this false fantasy that puts a woman's vagina so high up on a pedestal?

It's origins are from the social matrix itself. More simply put: Money. If something has value it can be sold. If it doesn't have value (or not the desired amount at least) more can be applied to "embellish" it's worth to society.
