Ok ladies and gents it is that spooky time of year again as we prepare for Halloween 2008 here in North Carolina. As a native of this state with 4 kids I have to find some Halloween Activities for them. So I figured what the heck, I will write an article about what I found and share the information. So please enjoy this article about Halloween 2008 activities in North Carolina. Each place on the list will have a website link so you can acquire any additional information that you may need.

Woods of Terror on Church Street

The Woods of Terror are located in Guilford County in North Carolina and has been in operation for 17 years now. Discount tickets are available for the kiddies and there are concessions sold on site. Be warned you will be searched for weapons on arrival so leave the heat at home. Their attractions include Terror on the Farm, Tour of Terror (in a tomb) and Carn-Evil with 3D glasses. Click this website for directions and more info.

Kersey Valley Spooky Woods

Their website claims they are North Carolina's only member of Americanhaunts.com and they spend $25,000 to put on their haunted show. The address is 1615 Kersey Valley Road in High Point. For 2008 ticket information call 336-821-9999. Among theirattractions is a magic show by Jonathan Frost.

Camp Fear

Camp Fear in Hiddenite North Carolina is one I will be attending for sure, since I live about 15 miles from it. But also it from the looks of their website, it will be a scary experience. Their trail of terror is located in the Hiddenite Family campground which is close to Statesville NC.

The Hacker House

Located in Pilot Mountain (Mount Pilot for you Andy Griffin fans) they offer a haunted house and a trail. Their website has the directions and rates and even offers haunted wallpaper for your computer.

I live in North Carolina too! The Poplar House & Mike's Farm are also great places to go, but I think I'm a lot more South than you are. Great article, by the way.
