My daughter called yesterday and was so excited because Chris Sligh, "American Idol" finalist from season 6, performed at her church, Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque. His testimony drove home Psalm 32:8: "I will instruct you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye upon you."
If you remember, Chris did not win "American Idol", but has gone on to bigger and better things because he allowed the Lord to lead him. Yes, he was confused, at first, but because he had a heart to be led by the Lord, he is doing what God created him to do. Here is his testimony.
Now that's exciting! We can all learn from Chris' experience: wait on the Lord and He will direct our paths.
