Christmas Tree Farms Near Blue Ridge, Georgia

Christmas trees are a very important part of Christmas for many different people. There are a few different tree farms in Blue Ridge, Georgia the best being the Southern Tree Plantation. This great tree farm doesn't just have Christmas trees, they also have great things to do come Halloween time as well as hay rides, a petting zoo, an old timed market like shop, kids play area, and a train ride. There are also a number of other farms in the area while most do not offer as many different things to do for kids as the Southern Tree Plantation.

The Southern Tree Plantation is located just outside of Blairsville, Georgia which is just a short drive from Blue Ridge. Because they offer so many different things it is in my opinion the best tree farm to visit. You can keep the kids occupied and make a family trip out of getting your own live Christmas tree. They are located at 2531 Owltown Road in Blairsville, Georgia. This is my favorite tree farm because of the number of different things that they offer. They have a 22" inflatable slide, hay rides, train rides, petting farms, marshmallow roast, crafts, maze, pony rides, and of course a wide selection of Christmas trees. Located in Gilmer County, about 15 minutes from Blue Ridge is Lowery's Tree Farm offering a wide variety of trees from white pine, spruce, and Leyland Cypress. They are open from the day after thanksgiving until Christmas day. They are located at 499 Old Pleasant Valley Road in Talking Rock, GA. At 375 Carver Mill Rd in Talking Rock, GA is located Jack's Tree Farm. They offer White Pine, Leyland Cypress, and Fraser Fir. You can choose and Cut your own.
