It was a good day last Saturday for college football. I underestimated the impact UCONN QB Tyler Lorenzen had on the team, and they looked terrible without him. This week is a hard week to pick as it seems that there are many inflated spreads. Texas Tech and Missouri lines are very hard for this week unlike last Saturday. Here they are, my week 7 college picks. Take my advice at your own risk! Good luck!

Iowa Hawkeyes -5 vs. Indiana Hoosiers
RB Shonn Greene for Iowa is the real deal and is in perfect health judging by his performance against Michigan State last week. Iowa has a very solid defense that should be able to shut down the Hoosiers. Don't expect many points, but Iowa will cover 20-10 Iowa.

Vanderbilt Comodores -4 vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs
hmmm where to start, a 1-4 Mississippi State team against the 5-0 #13. team in the nation in Vanderbilt. I don't care what history says in there last 10 meetings or that the game is at Mississippi State. The Comodores are on fire after beating Auburn, and will defeat Mississippi State by more than 4 points. Vandy 24-MSU 13

Notre Dame Fighting Irish +7.5 vs. North Carolina Tar Heels
I'm still not sold on the Tar Heels. North Carolina crushed a shorthanded UCONN team, a very shorthanded UCONN team. Notre Dame did partially blow a huge lead late against the Stanford Cardinal but still held on for victory. Even if Notre Dame can't win this game, it will be close. The Fighting Irish have a growing offense and will put points on the board. North Carolina 28-27, Notre Dame covers +7.5

LSU Tigers +4 vs. Florida Gators
I am already getting goosebumps just thinking about this matchup. Charles Scott, Percy Harvin, Tim Tebow, Brandon LaFell, and future NFL stars will make this matchup a fun one to watch. The Gators are still trying to shake off their surprising loss to Mississippi. LSU has gotten the job done in every game this year but how will they fare in the swamp? Florida is one of the toughest places to play in the nation. Well I am picking the upset here. LSU behind Charles Scott will control time of possession and keep the ball out of Tim Tebow's hands. The LSU Tigers will upset Florida 28-24
