Actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, and actress Kate Winslet are once again reunited on the big screen in the movie "Revolutionary Road." How can anyone forget their legendary scenes together in the Oscar-winning movie, "Titanic" back in 1997. The duo lit up the movie screen with love and passion playing Rose and Jack in the tear-jerking love story. Well, now the pair has once again joined together to now play husband and wife in the new movie "Revolutionary Road.""Revolutionary Road" is based off a 1961 novel by Richard Yates, in which an unhappy married couple try to get through their facade of a life in the 1950's. Leonardo DiCaprio plays the husband, Frank Wheeler, while Kate Winslet plays the wife, April Wheeler. The couple lives in a little suburb in Connecticut, but they decide to move to France to pursue their own artistic pursuits and get away from the suburban life. In "Revolutionary Road" April longs to be an actress while Frank deals with his corporate job that he hates. What follows after the move is more fighting and jealousy for the couple as their dreams are thrown into jeopardy. "Revolutionary Road" is not slated to be released until December in the United States but is already getting Oscar buzz from the press.
"Revolutionary Road" is directed by Sam Mendes, who has also directed "American Beauty" and "Jarhead." Sam Mendes is also the husband of Kate Winslet, which may have been a little uncomfortable for Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet while filming their love scenes for "Revolutionary Road." As the director, Mendes was responsible for directing Winslet and DiCaprio on how to actually perform the love scenes in the movie
Another "Titanic" face can be scene in "Revolutionary Road" as well. Kathy Bates who stared as Molly Brown in "Titanic", will now star as Helen Givings in "Revolutionary Road." She will be the person that sells the Wheelers their home and introduces them to the town.
