Week six is already upon us and I can honestly say that the parity in the NFL this season is playing hell with every pigskin picker I know. A week of going 8-6 is certainly not what I had in mind, but I will take it given the fact that so many games could have gone differently in the blink of an eye. For week six, the match ups are favorable to have an excellent week. It is a very long NFL football season, and with a season mark of 47-27, you should be right in the hunt with my picks for most office pools across the nation. Hang in there faithful NFL fans, and we will get to the promised land. Here are my free NFL week six predictions and picks. As always, feel free to leave your email in the comments below if you wish to subscribe and get these every week in your email.

Chicago at Atlanta - The Bears looked as though they were ready to completely dominate the NFL in week five, and many feel that trend will continue this week against the Falcons and young Matt Ryan. To be quite honest, Matt Ryan has really impressed me this season. He is fairly calm under pressure, and seems to have a good feel for the Falcon's offense. It always helps to have Michael Turner in the backfield as well. The Bears have Matt Forte, and the kid is for real. He is going to be a bonafide superstar in Chicago for years to come. This match up is tough to pick, but I think that the Bears will win due to a superior defense.

Result - Bears win

Baltimore at Indianapolis - The Ravens have all the defense in the world, and no offense to really speak of. The Colts are simply hard to figure out. This particular match up should be a tough game, but the Ravens just have no offense. The Colts will win, but only because the Ravens will struggle to score.

Result - Colts Win

Detroit at Minnesota - The Lions looked even worse in the first week following the Matt Millen fiasco, and this week gets no easier. Let's see... Adrian Peterson against the Lions run defense? This is an easy one for sure.

Result - Vikings Win

Oakland at New Orleans - The Saints and the Raiders. Now this is one odd NFL match up to be sure. The Saints should be able to run up and down the field on anyone, and the Raiders will not be any exception.

I was sitting here wondering where in the world I would pick otherwise on a straight up scenario. I think we might only have one or two differences. Nice read this week

Your picks seem to regularly appear in the "most popular" content on AC, which leads me to believe you must have a very appealing system. I know little about sports picks but i find your articles fun to read, anyway.
