Spread Underdogs to Win

Green Bay Packers +2 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Did the oddsmakers see the Seahawks play against the New York Giants last week? Well I did and it was ugly. The Packers also had a disappointing loss last week to the Atlanta Falcons, but at least they put up a fight. The Seahawks are regaining their team back from injuries especially at wide receiver. Aaron Rodgers looks stiff from his week 4 injury, but should be good to go against the seahawks. Expect Rodgers to eat up the Seahawks (The hawks have the 3rd worst passer rating against only behind the Lions and Rams), and for Ryan Grant to have a decent game as well. Packers win 31-21

Carolina Panthers +1.5 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Panthers are finally clicking and looking like a NFC contender. The Panthers are 4-1 and in first place in the NFC South division. The Panthers are giving up only 14 points a game ( about 20 less a game than the Lions), and are getting done on the ground with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart both with over 250 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns combined. Don't bet against the Panthers. Panthers win 21-17

Other Spread winners

Bears -3 vs. Falcons

The Falcons will have to release the leash off of Matt Ryan if they expect to compete in this game. The Bears can stop the run and will focus on Turner the whole game. The Bears have found their QB with Kyle Orton and have an emerging group of wide receivers. The Bears could be undefeated if it weren't for a couple of plays. The Falcons have been better than expected, but won't compete in this contest. 24-10 Bears win

Jets -6 vs. Bengals

The Bengals showed life against the Cowboys last week which was impressive. The Jets showed in week 4 that Brett Favre is improving with age. Expect Favre to eat up the Bengals like he did the Cardinals. Jets win in a route 45-14

Good Luck!
