First of all Google the biggest search engine on the net. Millions and millions of people use Google to find whatever they want to on the internet and it is one of the prime places you would want your website to be promoted. Now Google AdWords is a form of advertising on the internet through Google. They are ads placed on the side and top of the Google search engine pages. They are brought up every time a particular search is made.

Say you type into Google traffic, then when the page is loaded on the side of the screen you will see many links to sites to do with traffic. Can you just imagine the amount of people that will see your site if you chose to use Google AdWords. The amount of new traffic that you will obtain will go through the roof. Now if you are selling a product or just want to get your new website out there the Google AdWords is the way to go, but it isn't the cheapest way and not everyone can afford to use it.

The system works by you having to pay Google every time someone on the internet clicks or your website link. Now this can cost you greatly if many people are choosing to click on your website.
