Christmas is a great time of year to let your family and friends know how much you care about them by sending them a beautiful homemade Christmas card. You can be so creative with all your Christmas cards hang them on the wall, place them on your staircase, entertainment center, hang them from the ceiling, place them on the refrigerator so on and so on, there are endless possibilities. Be creative this Christmas try making your family and friends a glow in the dark Christmas card.I love making homemade Christmas cards with my kids every year. It's just something about a homemade Christmas card that puts a smile on my face. Maybe because love was put into the Christmas card or just maybe they appeal so much more attractive to me. Whatever the case maybe Christmas cards are really fun to make and receive. A glow in the dark Christmas card is very easy to create, but there is one rule you must follow in order to make the Christmas card glow the right way. That rule is always make sure the Christmas card you choose has a certain lightening affect on the card. What do I mean by this? Well simple just make sure when you pick the Christmas card out it has a star of some kind, iridescent designs, snow scene, maybe a star on top of the Christmas tree, or an angel with glitter, or a snowman with a iridescent look. This way when you apply the glow in the dark paint around the star or item it will show up beautifully not dull.
Items needed to create your glow in the dark Christmas card:
Glow in the dark paint (You can find the paint at any craft store or Wal-Mart) the paints do come in different colors like Green, Blue, Pink, and Red.
A long paintbrush with a small Bristol top
Christmas cards
Glow in the dark Stickers can also be added to the envelope
First step- Go shopping for the Christmas cards. Make sure you pick enough up for all your family and friends. It's always good to have extra Christmas cards on hand just incase someone you forgot sends you a card.
Second step- Find the glow in the dark paint and brush. I would highly suggest the glow in the dark paint in the tub if possible.
