Throwing the monitor out the window does not solve anything. When chaos is declared, it is wiser and cheaper to arm yourself withpatience to implement some basic mechanisms to repair the problems that may be present in the PC. As a point of departure, it must be said that prevention is always better than cure. Currently the network is fraught with all kinds of threats, from viruses that attack the operating system of the machine until sophisticated machinery of espionage in charge of obtaining data on the tastes and preferences of each user. Whatever the case, the fact is that these pests attacking the overall performance of the PC. Answers slower, "crashing" that will be constant and unwanted advertising are just some of the symptoms of a PC "infected".
If the machine finds it difficult to run programs or delay too much in open folders or files, something is wrong.
Against this, the more dramatic solution would be to format the PC and reinstall the operating system.
But no need to go so far. Before you throw everything overboard, it is desirable to implement some basic steps for maintenance and repair.
One of these repair mechanisms is called Windows Update. It is always useful to have activated the automatic update of the operating system via this service of Microsoft.
Periodically, the company of Bill Gates launches "patches" and solutions to security problems discovered in its operating system with its browser, Internet Explorer.
Installing the latest patches that are available tend to fix many of the problems and significantly improve performance.
But this solution is not for everyone. In other words, the pirates are out there, because since last August Microsoft prevents access to copies of Windows trout.
The upgrade process is simple and is managed by a Windows software called Windows Installer. The service discriminates between critical updates and other optional.
It is also desirable to review whether the machine is suffering from a virus accommodation. If the PC has an anti-virus installed, it should conduct a thorough analysis of the boot sectors, memory and all drives and partitions.
