When I tell people I work from home, the first response I usually get is do you have one of those work at home businesses. My answer is no I actually work for a real company from home and I get paid every 2 weeks just like someone working outside the home. The truth is that their are companies that hire people from home to do jobs that require just entry level or little experience that do not require any fees to get started. There are two businesses in the work from home world.

The first is a work from home business opportunity. Generally these are legit business opportunities where there is an initial fee to get started. Most people tend to shy away from these because they rather not come out of pocket to work. The fact of the matter is if you were going to buy a fast food franchise you would have to put out money because it is a business, in this case your investing a small amount of money to start what will be your own business and ran by you.

I recently interviewed Warm Spirits and Send Out Cards business owner Denise Roach about her experience with having two work from home businesses:

1. Hi Denise I see you run 2 different businesses, what types of business are they ? The 2 businesses are Warm Spirits and Send Out Cards. Both businesses consist of direct sales which are businesses that the plan is already preset for you. You are selling directly to the consumer away from a retail location. Warm Spirit is a nature based health and wellness company - that features aromatherapy products, teas, soy candles, and homeopathic remedies. My website is www.pam pered2prosper.com The second business is sendoutcards.com ,this is a online database system that allows you to send out real greeting cards from your computer ,but a real card is printed for you ,placed into an envelope and mailed out with a real stamp to the destination of your choice. For a sample visit www.greetingst oall.com

2. Do you work these businesses full time? Yes I work both full time but, full time in direct sales is 20 hours a week.

Good, Krystel. I hope these places can help some other folks who've been laid off or just want to work at home. I know I love working from home.
