There are some interesting matchups on tap in the NFL for week 6. Here are 5 games I have chosen to pick as my best bets for the week. Please keep in mind that I am not a professional oddsmaker or anything of that nature so don't bet the house on these picks!

Washington -13.5 vs. St. Louis-

This is going to be an epic beatdown by the Redskins. The line is pretty high here but terrible teams like St. Louis get gobbled up on the road against good teams in the NFL.

At Denver -3.5 Jacksonville-

I really like the Jaguars in this game because they are a more complete football team and Denver won't be able to run the ball much on Jacksonville's gigantic defensive line.

At Seattle -2 Green Bay-

Aaron Rodgers is hurting, this is a long trip for Green Bay, and Matt Hasselbeck is finally getting receivers back. Take the Seahawks as risky as that might sound with them being favored.

NY Giants -8 At Cleveland-

The Giants are going to harass Derek Anderson and probably get him to throw a couple of picks, so take the Giants in this game despite the big spread. They're a good bet until they slow down at some point.

Minnesota -13.5 vs. Detroit-

The spread is huge, yes. But something is terribly, terribly wrong in Detroit. Rod Marinelli wanted hard workers but sacrificed talent on a team that didn't have much to begin with. The Lions will get blown out unless Kitna and the two big wide receivers hook up on multiple deep passes. Not likely.
