My Favorite Movies

Benny & Joon - let me start by saying that I love Johnny Depp. He is one of the few actors that I will watch no matter what he does (with the exception of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." There is nothing left to be done to this movie except for rereleasing the version with Gene Wilder). This is a double love story but the focus is not on the two lonely middle-class souls that eventually open up enough to realize, uh huh. The focus remains on Benny (Johnny Depp) and Joon (Mary Stuart Masterson), who are two socially awkward people who have spent their entire lives in the company of people who will not let them forget their disabilities. Once they meet each other, they remember just how human they really are.

The Fifth Element - Bruce Willis, "Moonlighting." "Armagedon." He is a man's man and a lady's man. All he would have to do is look at me and my clothes would disappear. With all of the great work he has done, this movie remains one of my all-time favorites simply because of everything, his facial expressions, body language, his eyes alone overpower the cast and special effects but this is a captivating movie that thugs at my emotional boundaries no matter from which point I begin to watch this movie.
