1. Clinton Portis - Was = StL
Portis' reliable and dependable production so far this year means he gets the nod at #1 over Adrian Peterson. 125-150 total yards, 2 touchdowns.
2. Adrian Peterson - Min = Det
Could easily be ranked #1, but his horrible game last week against a terrible NO run defense baffles me. In other words, Peterson hasn't been very dependable for fantasy owners thus far. He's been boom or bust lately. 125 total yards, 2 touchdowns if he actually plays like he can.
3. Marion Barber - Dal = @Ari
Should be a bruiser for Dallas this week. 100 rushing yards, 1-2 touchdowns.
4. Brandon Jacobs - NYG = @Cle
A touchdown plunge or two is likely. 100 rushing yards, 1-2 touchdowns.
5. Matt Forte - Chi = @Atl
Once again, Forte beats out the bigger named running backs this week. Start him if you have the option. 100 total yards, 1-2 touchdowns.
6. Ronnie Brown - Mia = @Hou
WOW. Ronnie has been absolutely fantastic lately...And Houston shouldn't slow him down this week. 100 total yards, 1-2 touchdowns.
7. Brian Westbrook - Phi = @SF
More injury concerns. But if he plays, it's a good matchup.
8. Frank Gore - SF = Phi
Tough matchup, but Portis just torched the Eagles D for 145 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. Gore has the ability to do the same. 100 total yards, 1 touchdown.
9. Reggie Bush - NO = Oak
Simply put, Bush just finds ways to score. Rushing. Receiving. Punt Returns. You name it. Just get him the ball. He should have no problem finding the end zone at least once, and 2 touchdowns are possible.
10 LaDainian Tomlinson - SD = NE
Man this is almost too high of a ranking for LT, but he's still one of those players you just can't bench.
