KD: First off, NOMAAD, thank you for this interview. Could you please enlighten our readers as to who you are, where you are from, and what you do? NOMAAD: What's up people, my name is NOMAAD, I'm a Hip Hop Rap artist reppin VA, DC, and MD. I get asked a lot about my name "NOMAAD", it simply means "Nigga Of Many Areas And Destinations". The late Tupac best put what "NIGGA", stands for, "Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished", I stay focused on my music and riding success as far as it takes me. I was originally born in Harlem NY, lived in Florida, and a few other places, but now I stay in the VA area puttin' it down for DC, MD, VA and anybody who loves hip-hop. Currently I'm in the studio dropping hits for my album and promoting with my street team trying to make it to the top, never stop UCM.
KD: How did you first get started in the rap game? Who would you say has influenced your style or sound?
NOMAAD: I was influenced by my brother and tupac at the age of fourteen and developed my style by flippin off of instrumental and freestyle on the streets.
KD: What producers do you work with? What do you work for when choosing beats?
NOMAAD: I work with various producers that I vibe with best. I look for producers who have a unique sound, cause each producer has different flavors. When I here one I like it's easy for me to flow to.
KD: How would you describe yourself to someone who has never heard you or your music before?
NOMAAD: If u love hip-hop you're going to love NOMAAD , why, because of hot beats, catchy hooks, heart felt songs.
KD: Are there any artists (MCs, producers, singers, etc) that you would like to work with if you got the chance?
NOMAAD: When I get the chance I would like to work with Luda, DMX, Lil Jon, Avant, Mario, TI and who ever feels NOMAAD.
KD: Could you tell us about your upcoming album, "19"? Is there a specific meaning to the title? What can we expect from you when we listen to this album?
NOMAAD: Expect album "19" to drop this summer, it's something for everybody heart felt songs, hot beat and catchy hooks. The title reflects a time in my life when I was 19.
