Miami is one of the hottest spring break destinations out there! Although Miami is high priced during all seasons, you'll definitely pay the price to stay there during peak spring and summer seasons! Even though you will pay premium price to visit Miami- there is so much to do you probably won't mind! Although the beach is always the hottest attraction Miami also features shopping, dining, nightlife, and kid friendly attractions- so anyone can have the perfect spring break vacation there!

Hotels in Miami are extremely expensive. Hotels range from about $100-400 per night depending on your exact location in Miami. If you book early you will get the best deals, and you'll need them! Trump Sonesta Beach Resort in North Miami Beach costs about $330 dollars a night while Continental Oceanfront in South Beach costs only $100 per night. South Beach hotels are typically more expensive, and the higher rated your hotel the more expensive it will be. Ocean view rooms are also more expensive- but I recommend them if you can afford it because seeing the sunrise on the beach is one of the most beautiful things in the world. You can find great package deals on hotels, flight, and car rentals at websites like Expedia and Travelocity.

The beaches in Miami are obviously one of the main attractions in Miami during spring break. The water will probably be fairly warm if you go in April, so swimming will be no problem! There are many different beaches in Miami, and which one you visit will greatly depend on the location of your hotel. Some of the beaches feature concession stands, places to rent water-sports equipment, beach volleyball, and fishing. Many of the beaches will feature lifeguards, public restrooms and shower areas, and beach umbrella rental. Some of the beaches, especially on South Beach, require a fee to park. The beaches will probably be fairly crowded during spring break, especially on weekends. If you have the luxury of choosing when you will go on your spring retreat you might want to choose weekdays for your vacation instead of weekends.
