Rainbow Mary was a colorful gal.
She spread happiness and cheer.
I always enjoyed when she was around.
She'd always brighten up my year.

She wore a pretty pink dress .
She had a blue ribbon in her hair.
She carried a purple purse.
She was beautiful beyond compare.

Her glowing blue eyes
Lightened up her face.
She loved to dance and sing a song.
She had beauty, style, and grace.

Rainbow Mary was very kind.
She liked to help the sick.
And if you touched Mary's hand,
Your recovery would be very quick.

Rainbow Mary was thirteen years old.
She was the pride of our Middle School.
Whenever she came to my class,
All the students would say, "Mary's cool."

Rainbow Mary had a pet.
She owned a little lamb.
One day Mary gave it away
To her cousin Sam.

Now Mary doesn't own a lamb,
But she's not at all upset.
Her cousin Sam is very happy,
And so Mary has no regrets.

There are few girls as good as Mary.
I can tell you this right now.
Rainbow Mary's getting a new pet.
It's young Jack's purple cow.
