Raining Me - A Halloween Poem
Embed:
Are you ready?the skies split and hate pours down
while you run through cardboard faces from your past
trying to find shelter.
There's no one here-
absorbing silence makes your head explode
and unsaid words are dripping all over you.
Shaking, frozen with fear and anger
you hide under the covers of future excuses
as the insinuation of me is smiling behind you.
"I told you to get ready"...
