Along the Mississippi River in the center of Iowa is the town of Moline, Iowa. Moline has a population of over 43,000 people and it is a beautiful place along the Mississippi River. If you get a chance to get to Moline make sure you see the mighty Mississippi river as it slows by. Moline, Iowa is known as the farm implement capital of America. The John Deere organizations makes it's home in Moline, Iowa. John Deere pavilion is off of I-74 in Moline. The pavilion showcases vantage and modern John Deere equipment. The displays are interactive and allow visitors to sit in the cab of a harvester. The progression of a family farm is shown up to the future of agribusiness. The Harvester Works in the John Deere Company's local combine factory and the film The Bounty is shown depicting a farm families lifestyles as they go through the challenges of the seasons. The John Deere pavilion in Moline, Iowa is free to visit and if you want to find out more information you can phone 309-765-1000. There is no fee to see the John Deere pavilion.
