SSN Episode 2: "A Revolution's origins"
================================
June 13, 1946
Roswell New Mexico
-----------

"Good evening gentlemen. We're gathered here today perhaps to make the decision that could end or progress humanity. This is not the point I wanted to come to but we have no choice. They know we have the wreckage and they want it back. The U.S. Government has instructed us not to and in response is moving the wreckage once every 24 hours to a different location in case there is a beeper on board or some kind of tracking equipment."

The Air Force General then turned in his chair to his assistant, who handed him some folders. Across from him sat three men labeled Mr. X, Y, and Z.

"The President wants full cooperation from everyone on this matter and he will get it I'm sure," said Mr. Y as he opened the folder. "Is this the program?"

"Yes. It's what we call the U.S. Selective Service program, otherwise known as "The Draft"".

The three men nodded in agreement. "An excellent way to begin the experiments. No one would know the difference. We will begin immediately. I'm sure they will take this as exceptional collateral."

As the three men get up, each shake the general's hand. "And as for the wreckage, well, we'll tell them that we're still looking for it."

"Do you have the Dr. in sight? Over...."
"I don't think so...still accessing..."

As I looked over at the vehicle, I then looked back at Leslie, who was preparing to leave. I looked away and shouted towards her. She looked back at me and pulled her hair behind her ear and walked back over. "Are you OK Dr.?"

"Look, I haven't been very truthful. The fact is, I'm in need of some help. I need to get to the gym and I don't have a vehicle...could you give me a ride?"

I could tell that she was a little skiddish on the idea, but she nodded in approval. "Let me get my kids."
