I simply cannot believe
You look at me with eyes
through which I cannot see
You say that I am gorgeous
I can only roll my eyes
I am nothing but ordinary
I wish you would realize
You love me with all you are
You give me all you have
You are what no one has ever been
my broken heart's healing salve
Day-by-day my countenance changes
My face begins to glow
My spirit soars to the very Heavens
Washed away is my past of woe
Everyone sees the changes
The name 'Mahanna' fits me like a glove
because the lowly woman I once was
is now beautiful in your love.
