KD: For those of us who might not know who Wordsmith is, please tell us who you are, who you are affiliated with, and where we might have heard you.

Wordsmith: Well, personally I see myself as a very detailed rapper that concentrates on crafting each line of a verse, hook, or bridge precisely to ah T. Building off of that I thought of how a Blacksmith forges and shapes iron with a tool like a hammer. I feel like I do the same thing when I create a track, except my tool is the mic and my mind. As far as my affiliations, I have to give 730 from HipHopgame.com a shout out for breaking me as an artist to the public. It's kind of been a chain reaction with everything since I sent my demo to him earlier this year. I have been blessed with numerous opportunities in the mixtape circuit, interviews, and most of all a face in the industry, if you feel me. By simply mentioning my name in one of his monthly columns on the site I have been contacted and worked with some of the hottest up and coming producers out there today. Now that's power when your so respected that you can mention a person's name and it opens doors up for you as an MC. He is still underrated if you ask me though.

KD: With your presence and delivery, as well as your clever lyrics, I would assume you've been honing your skills for a while. How did you first get into Hip-Hop, and how did that transition your evolution as an emcee and artist?
